Invitation to Cycle Guided Tour
We “Nikko Cycle & Tourism” produce a cycle tour to enjoy the town of World Heritage Nikko. Starting tour arrangements in Winter 2018, — after the interruption due to the coronavirus pandemic —, we have restarted the monitor tour in November 2023.
Fascination of Tour
(1) Going Around the Back Roads
According to the experience you desire --- history, folklore, faith, architecture, and natural beauty etc ---, we will make a special selection for you from the overflowing tourist information.
(2)Refresh your mind and body
Mountainous slope doesn't matter to E-Bike. Also free from traffic jams or parking lots, it provides a pleasant exercise for the mind and body.
(3)Optimizing safety and security
Experts in cycling, the outdoors activities, and history came together to create the tour. Various participants can fully enjoy the World Heritage city, according to their interests and physical strength.
Courses
(1)Basic Course
Part 1. Area around World Heritage.
Enjoy Mt. Nikko and the World Heritage Site “Shrines and Temples of Nikko”
Start: Cycle Shop KAMIYAMA
20km, 4 hours
We can change the course and duration to suit your interests (no extra cost).
Part 2. Outskirts of Nikko: Shichiri and Noguchi Area.
From St. Kukai to I. Bird: Time Travel in Nikko at the Gateway
Start: Cycle Shop KAMIYAMA

Part 3. Upper Nikko and Senjōgahara Marshland Area
Nature and people's lives in the mythical world
Start: Sanbon Matsu Park
30km, 4.5 hours
We can change the course and duration to suit your interests (no extra cost).
(2) Event Course
Irregular tour around the World Heritage Area for a special day (annual events, seasonal timing etc.).

Once or twice a month in the surrounding region of Nikko (ex. Ashio area).

Tour Fee
Basic Course, Part 1-2. Cycle rental fee is separate.
Cash, Credit Card, and PayPay are available.
2-4 persons (1 group): weekdays ¥8000, weekend & holiday ¥10000
5-6 persons (1 group): weekdays ¥7500, weekend & holiday ¥9500
*1 Including helmet, gloves, rain wear, and insurance. For safety reasons, wearing a helmet is mandatory.
*2 If you prefer a private tour as a group, an extra ¥5000 per person is charged. 1 group with 6 persons is exceptional.
*3 In case 1 group with 1 person, it is required extra ¥5000 as a private tour. Ex ¥13000 per person on weekdays.
*4 Ask when you are 1 group with more than 7 persons, and others.
Basic Course, Part 3.
Cash, Credit Card, and PayPay are available.
2-4 persons (1 group only): weekdays ¥18000, weekend & holiday ¥20000
*1 Including lunch, snacks, helmet, gloves, rain wear, and insurance. For safety reasons, wearing a helmet is mandatory.
*2 In case 1 group with 1 person, it is required extra ¥5000 as a private tour. Ex ¥23000 per person on weekdays.
*3 Peak periods (Golden Week holidays in May and Autumn foliage season etc.) require an additional flat rate of ¥3000. The specific dates will be posted on the website.
From Oct. 14th, we enter into Autumn peak period.
*4 Ask when you are 1 group with more than 5 persons, and others.
